This stylish four star hotel is currently seeking a Reservations Manager to assist in all aspects of managing the Reservations department, ensuring the hotel maximizes its occupancy at all times through effective use of all revenue tools (Hotsoft, Reservations two-way interface, channel management, third party websites etc) while also ensuring maximum customer satisfaction. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, further responsibilities will include: Ensure the hotel meets revenue targets. Ensure all reservations tasks are completed on a daily basis. Ensure all reservations systems and procedures are in place and fully operational on a daily basis. Manage and deal with all group enquiries. Work alongside Sales, Marketing and Front Office Manager to maximise hotel occupancy at all times. Manage third party websites along with channel manager. Ensure timely and accurate control and payment of room revenue commissions. Ensure all emails and phone calls regarding guest requests are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner. Have full awareness of market trends and hotel’s competitor set. Engage in a proactive relationship with the Front Office team. Assist the Front Office Manager in the role of reservations. Conduct all work in line with hotel’s business plan and hotel policies. The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ experience as Revenue / Reservations Manager in a four star property. You will demonstrate a strong grasp of revenue strategy with keen financial acumen and excellent attention to detail. This role requires flexibility with working hours.
