This leading world renowned global organisation are currently looking for a Lab Manager for their brand new Analytical Service Laboratory. This is a new lab which is currently under construction & due to be completed in September of this year. The lab will grow to a headcount of approximately 24 people and will be an essential & high profile team for this global organisation. This person will have huge input into growing the team around them. The role of Analytical Lab Manager is responsible for managing a group of people in all aspects of operations of a laboratory that tests and analyses the quality of the organisation's raw materials, in process products and finished goods. They will also have responsibility for: Implementing and monitoring laboratory operating procedures. Ensuring that experiments are conducted within established budgets. Allocating laboratory operations and workflow. Supporting troubleshooting of quality issues. The successful Analytical Lab Manager will ideally have 6 years' experience in an analytical and operational leadership role. The ideal candidate will also ideally have a PhD. or MSc. In Chemistry, Microbiology or related discipline. People management experience is a crucial element of this role.
