A global medical device company based in the west of Ireland are looking for a Global Inventory Analyst to join their operations department and work closely with the manufacturing plants and replenishment planners. The Position. As the new Global Inventory Analyst, you will be responsible for coordinating with strategic sourcing to review and interpret the impact of vendor contracts on inventory. You will calculate and analyse global inventory values on hand as well as provide inventory projections. As part of the remit of your new role, you will also: Define and implement policies and procedures related to global Inventory reserves, Inventory disposition orders, as well as product intro's/ disconnections. Manage the tracking of Continuous improvement projects as it relates to the organisations strategic initiative. Coordinate, communicate, and publish all inventory planning activities. Manage the implementation of all inventory reducing policies and procedures. The Person. The ideal Global Inventory Analyst will be degree qualified with a BA, BS in Business, Operations Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain with a strong understanding of Master Production Scheduling and Materials Requirements Planning processes. The new Global Inventory Analyst will be required to have: 1-2 years' experience working in Plant Operations. 1-2 years project management experience. 1-2 years' experience in a supply chain planning environment.
