My client has an urgent requirement for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer, ideally with some supervisory background. You`ll be working with a leading employer with a great reputation on a 14 month fixed term contract. RESPONSIBILITIES: Complete raw material vendor assessments as part ofvendor selection team. Completevendor audits for new and existing vendors per annual audit schedule. Lead Incoming QA inspection team and coordinate raw material testing and release. Complete investigation and resolution of material related issues in the manufacturing process. Complete effective assessment, control and disposition of defective raw material stock. Provide the quality input to supplier improvement programs andcollaborate with Sourcing and Supplier Quality on vendor SCARs. Provide personnel training as required to support raw material testing and release. Support internal and external Quality system audits. QUALIFICATIONS: Degree in Engineering/Science Discipline. Quality Engineering Qualification / ASQ CQE certification. Experience of Supplier auditing. Experience in statistical analysis / process validation. 3-5 years’ experience in Medical Device Industry.
