Quality Engineer - Design Assurance

My client has an urgent requirement for an experienced Quality Engineer, ideally with a background in Design Assurance but strong general systems management experience will also be considered as training will be provided. You`ll be working with a leading employer with a great reputation on a 12 month fixed term contract. You`ll be managing design controls and risk assessments for products manufactured outside Ireland but the role is fully based in Mayo. RESPONSIBILTIES: Act as a core team member on projects representing Quality Management. Facilitate Design Controls, Risk Assessments and DFMEA. Support specification and drawing development and quality planning utilizing statistical tools. Support PFMEA, Process Validation and related training of associates. Support CAPA analysis and problem solving. Complete internal audits as a member of the internal audit team. QUALIFICATIONS: Degree in Engineering/Science Discipline. Quality Engineering Qualification / ASQ CQE certification. Experience of Design controls / New Product Commercializationprojects. Experience in statistical analysis / process validation. 3-5 years’ experience in Medical Device Industry. Strong communication skills.
