Head Chef Large Catering Unit West of Ireland 40K Day Time 7-4 Monday to Friday. Our Catering client is seeking to recruit an experienced Head Chef that will work with them in their array of food counters on offer. This progressive company is seeking a hands on Head Chef that will oversee the day to day operations of this large catering contract. While it’s a large contract it’s very focused on fresh foods, flavours and food trends. We are not seeking a packet & tin chef! Requirements: Previous 5 years Head Chef Experience. Strong Knowledge on all types of Cuisines and Pricing. Strong on Kitchen Organisation & Management. Strong on People Management & Training. Great attention to food presentation and Hygiene. Cost aware while focusing on the very best for the customer. Must have great flair for FRESH produce. Experience with world cuisine and food trends is essential. Strong on catering for large numbers such as catering or banqueting. This is great indigenous company with a great work life balance. This role will mainly work Monday to Friday between 7-4 and oversee a large Kitchen Team. Its hands on Cooking and Kitchen Management, You need experience in Large Numbers, Special Diets, PC Knowledge of Email, word and Excel. The ability to read, understand Budgets is essential and work with the Catering Manager in achieving overall budget for this unit.
