Description

RESPONSIBILTIES: Establish short- and medium-term manning/capacity requirements. Attend Material Cost Savings Meeting and action tasks as assigned. Liaise with Distribution to correct material variances. Lead weekly S&OP meeting. Review safety stock levels and review of supplier Kanbans. Material Management. Support the planning process to ensure on-time availability. Support Inventory Analysis. EDUCATION. Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management is essential. Certified in Production & Inventory Management (CPIM) desirable. EXPERIENCE. Essential 3+ years relevant industry experience, ideally in medical devices. Desirable - Experience in a similar purchasing role with similarly high level of SKUs. SKILLS. Good understanding effective production scheduling processes and techniques. Excellent mathematical, analytical skills and MS Excel. Strong knowledge of SAP, Kanban systems and operation of JIT. Process or product knowledge within the medical devices industry would be a distinct advantage.
