Quality Co-Ordinator. Core Purpose: The ideal candidate will support the Quality Manager with the maintenance of a fully certified ISO9001 and PS 9000 quality system and to help drive continuous improvement activities throughout the plant to reduce quality costs through handling of customer complaints, internal non-conformances and continuous improvement projects. There will be responsibilities to carry out GMP training, procedure training and re-training where necessary across all departments to improve quality indicators. Core Responsibilities: Management of customer, supplier and internal quality non conformances. Perform GMP and SOP training with all employees. Support existing quality systems e.g. ISO9001 and PS9000. Deputise for Quality Manager as required. Carry out Internal Auditing and production floor line patrol. Participation in quality improvement projects to reduce cost of quality. Manage Documentation control and procedure generation. Management of Calibration system. Trend Analysis & report generation. Back up support for Batch release / Production data systems. Assist in customer complaint management and general customer liaison. Qualifications & Experience: Graduate calibre to diploma / degree level in a Scientific or Engineering discipline with a Quality Element. Internal Quality Auditor qualification desirable. Previous experience in a Quality role in a related industry. Proficiency in Information Systems. The ability to mentor/coach accordingly. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrable experience of leading change and implementing continuous improvement processes. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP ) Knowledge of CAD system. Project management and problem solving skills. Previous customer facing experience an advantage.
