Senior HSEQ Advisor. My client are a top provider of leading-edge infrastructural solutions for over 40 years, spanning communications, power, transport and civil projects in Ireland, UK and internationally. Currently recruiting for a Senior HSEQ to cover the North West region there is an excellent salary of €50k-€65k (doe) available & company car and fuel card. YOUR NEW ROLE. Reporting to the HSEQ Manager you will have a broad remit ensuring that high standards of HSEQ are attained and continually improved while also ensuring all HSEQ legal obligations are met. Some of the elements of this exciting and diverse H & S Advisor job include: *Development of the HSEQ Management system, in line with OHSAS 18001 (ISO 45001), ISO 9001 and ISO 14001; *Reporting to management on the performance of the management systems and any need for improvement; Being the voice of the customer throughout the organisation; *Oversee, monitor and evaluate the operation of HSEQ performance across the region, working to ensure that all worksites are fully compliant with legal HSEQ obligations; *Completion of Construction Stage Plans, Pre-Qualification & Tender Documents, Emergency Response Plans, Client Reports etc; *Approval, monitoring and reviewing of all sub-contractor works; *Writing risk assessments and method statements; *Site audits & inspections including external audits for 18001 (45001), 14001 & 9001; *Assisting with Occupational Health issues; *Training - undertaking internal training including inductions, toolbox talks etc; *Providing advice and assistance to the Contract Managers, Operational Team Leads, Front Line Manager's etc on practical management of site work and HSEQ management systems; *Producing and implementing HSEQ Procedures, Work Instructions, Forms and other site documentation; *Reviewing site HSEQ documentation to ensure it meets legal requirements; *Ensuring records of incidents are maintained and investigations undertaken to establish the root causes and that controls are in place to avoid a reoccurrence; WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU. You will have 3 years experience in a similar role with membership of IOSH, an understanding on the regulatory sector & management of risk along with a proven track record of building strong safety cultures in organisations. Sector wise candidates coming from a background in civils, rail, telecoms & utilities will have lots of transferable experience for the Sr HSEQ job and ideally you will hold a relevant degree in Occupational Safety & Health, NEBSOH Diploma or Higher Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent. You will also have a full driver's licence and be proficient in Microsoft packages. Fluency in written & verbal English is essential for the Sr HSEQ Consultant job. Sound like your cup of tea?
