Looking for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant for a leading Medical Device company based in Westport, Co Mayo. You will be part of a large finance team and will be supporting one of the Business Units in the factory. Key Responsibilities : You will prepare all assigned month-end procedures, e.g. reconciliations, calculations, variance analysis, journal entries, Forecasts, & narratives. As part of this diverse and inclusive team, you will share your knowledge on and provide support to ensure all accounting and reporting procedures comply with SOX and internal control guidelines. You can participate and support the preparation of the annual budget process. We believe in collaboration so in this role, you will partner with and support any requirements from External and internal auditors. In this role you will Support & maintain the Capital expenditure process, control & reporting and provide regular updates to site. As Senior Accountant, you will monitor and report on operations performance and monthly metrics. In this role you will perform monthly closing activities within the department. You will participate in ad hoc projects. Key requirements: Qualified Accountant with a relevant degreee in business or accounting. Experience within a global manufacturing environment or multinational is preferred. SAP Experience is preferred. Experience working with internal and external auditors. Experience in forecasting and planning. Cost Accounting experience is preferred. Must be results driven striving to meet all targets and metric standards as set by site/department and division leaders.
