Description

Financial Controller - County Mayo. The role involves the overseeing of all financial control activities, including the review and analysis of monthly management accounts. The role will report directly to the MD. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: • Preparation of monthly management accounts. • Preparation of annual accounts to audit standard. • Updating and reconciling nominal ledger accounts. • Providing accurate financial information and analysing department performance. • Preparation and filing of annual vat return. • Corresponding with Revenue and complying with all tax obligations. • Management of all aspects of Company Payroll (Sage. • Updating and reconciling nominal ledger accounts. • Preparation of bank reconciliations. • Reconciliation of vehicle stocking accounts. • Leading and managing a small finance team. • Liaising with external auditors. • Participating in various other activities as required. Interested applicants should have: • Qualified accountant, with at least 3 years' post-qualification experience in industry. • Commercially astute, strong administrative and IT skills, especially Excel. • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise work. • Have excellent attention to detail. • Highly motivated self-starter and also be a strong team player. • Knowledge of Keyloop/Kerridge and Sage payroll would be an advantage but not essential. Salary dependent on experience and suitability.
